The Studio
MORK OBJECTS was founded with the intention of redefining the candle as an object.
Rather than decoration, we see wax as a material, capable of carrying form, structure and presence.
Process
Each piece begins with material.
Wax is melted, coloured and poured by hand in our Swedish studio. Working in small batches gives us greater control over form, surface and finish.
Small variations are not removed from the process. They are part of it.
Philosophy
We believe objects should exist beyond function.
Made to be displayed.
Made to be used.
Made to change.
A flame is temporary.
Form leaves a trace.
